A US Army website for its bases in Bavaria, Germany published a list of food banks in the area that could help soldiers and staff as part of its "Shutdown Guidance," the subtext being that soldiers and base employees might need to obtain free food from German government services during the government shutdown.
A U.S. Army garrison in Germany's largest state briefly offered community members seeking food aid amid the government shutdown an online referral to German public resources. The list of five German support organizations was removed sometime Wednesday.

We can't feed our own Soldiers or keep our skies safe, but this Republican ignoramus Alabama senator wants to attack Nigeria because 60,000 Christians have been killed over the past few years in tribal fighting over scarce resources and government corruption.
70,000 Palestinians have been killed in two years and there is no talk of invading Israel.
Listen to the idiotic warmongering senator bray about attacking a nation of 237.5m people on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean: twitter.com
Sheer lunacy even if our own people weren't starving.
