Democrats Hit Historic High in Fox News Poll

Strength In Numbers: This week, a new Fox News poll showed Democrats hitting the highest percent support on the generic ballot in the history of the survey, winning 52% of the vote vs 46% for the Republicans. This puts them firmly in "wave" territory for November: Per Fox, "The current 52% Democratic support is the highest recorded for either party; the previous high was 50% for the Democrats in October 2017."

Mildly interesting...but, yeah, whatever.

"[Dems] winning 52% of the vote vs 46% for the Republicans"

This just in, a slim majority of Americans prefer forgoing second helpings of the mouthful of feces they ordered a year ago.

Damn that fickle base. Trump must be chewing nails over this news.

Trump is so dishonest that even his stupid base is turning against him.

Stephen Miller's giant NAZIfied brain will have to find a solution.

How well do "general population" polls reflect the outcome of the Electoral College, and/or states' gerrymandering for House seats?

"Stephen Miller's giant NAZIfied brain will have to find a solution."

What would Hitler do?

Maybre Trump could burn down the White House and blame it on the radical left.

These numbers now are because Dems are not Trump... they still have to put forward candidates that people can be FOR.

Like maybe a James Talarico.

Another comment on that...

Since, as you note, the opinions may be against Pres Trump instead of for the Dems, will GOP candidates start to distance themselves from Pres Trump?

If they do, then the anti-Trump backlash might not affect the elections too much?

Republicans are famous for doubling down.

If they're caught breaking a law, the answer isn't to change behavior, the answer is to change the law.

Pretty sure the Trump administration and their billionaire investors are doing everything they can to rig the November midterms.

With Republicans doing everything they can to undermine the midterm election, which is still 10 months away, I'm pretty much in wait-and-see mode.
