Trump Admin Demands States ‘Undo’ Full Payments

The legal and operational chaos surrounding the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) intensified over the weekend, as the Trump administration formally demanded that states "undo" full November benefits paid out under temporary court orders, just hours after the Supreme Court issued a pause on those rulings.

The directive from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) arrived Saturday, declaring any full payments made last week to be "unauthorized" and instructing states to "immediately undo any steps taken to issue full SNAP benefits for November 2025."

The directive from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) arrived Saturday, declaring any full payments made last week to be "unauthorized" and instructing states to "immediately undo any steps taken to issue full SNAP benefits for November 2025."

This comes after Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson temporarily blocked an order that required the Trump administration to make full SNAP payments for November, granting the administration a brief reprieve pending review by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

The USDA's demand immediately set up a confrontation with states, more than two dozen of which have warned of "catastrophic operational disruptions" if the federal government does not reimburse them for the SNAP benefits they released.

Wisconsin, whose Democratic Governor Tony Evers ordered the release of benefits to 700,000 residents last week following a favorable court ruling, faces an imminent crisis. The state's administration warned Sunday that after the U.S. Treasury froze its reimbursements, it anticipates running out of money by Monday.

"Let them eat tacos!"

The reality that this is all to pay for his and his billionaire friends tax cuts is apparently flying way over Trumper's heads.

So, no surprise there.

He's already starved 100's of thousands of foreign children to death for the same reason; it's not like starving Americans is much different to him.

Something I posted on another thread for BJ boi, but is appropriate for here:

"people are suffering because of this government shutdown. it is the Democrat Schumer shutdown. they are the ones taking full responsibility for it. um, you know, I think in the meantime, I think this is a great opportunity for the church, the local church to step up. it's not the government's job to feed people. nowhere in scripture do we see God calling the government to care for the sick, the orphan, the poor, the needy, the widow. that's the church's job. and so this is a great opportunity for the church of Jesus Christ in America to start acting like it, and to be ready to feed the hungry and welcome those those who need help."

I'm so fed up with this propaganda that's been shoved down our throats for the past 50 years, about how it's not government's job to help people.

f*ck you completely. helping its people is literally what a government is for.

FDR's New F*cking Deal (yes, that's what it was called in the first draft) provided a well-funded social safety net that lifted millions of Americans out of poverty and created the strongest middle class we've ever seen.

look, it's nice that some churches are willing to step into the breach and feed their communities as best they can " but they can't do it alone. they don't have the resources of a federal government. I can't believe I have to explain this to the Lieutenant Governor of an entire state. f*ck you f*ck you f*ck you.

sorry, I'm really worked up now. the only thing that's going to calm me down is Pete Kegstand flipping a skateboard into his own nuts.

who's with me?

"Yeah. So, so really bad. Right. So what is our president doing? Well, he's got a Great Gatsby party that was just recently.

He's torn down the white House to build a ballroom, which, you know, for

who who's going you're going to borrow where you might because your fancy. But but. I'm not going to get invite invited to the Trump Ballroom.

Well you know, maybe somebody else on the place but but but but the point is, he's building the Versailles Hall of Mirrors.

What? People literally are not getting their food aid. So Americans are starving.

And he's doing let them eat cake. Right. And then on top of that, he's he's gilded the Oval Office.

It literally, literally looks like Liberace threw up in the place. Right? Everything is covered in gold."

Trump Admin Demands States Undo' Full Payments

Some of the food has already been eaten. If Trump is willing to wait for a day or so, he can enjoy the proceeds.
