Loser NYC Mayor Eric Adams Playing Part of Spoiler

The election may be over in NYC, but superloser Mayor Eric Adams isn't done fighting against Zohran Mamdani. In the last two weeks, Adams has made, or flirted with, maneuvers that could cause some political headaches for mayor-elect Mamdani and even stall his affordability agenda. The moves have implications for Mamdani's pledge to freeze the rent for stabilized tenants, maintain funding for the NYPD, and build more housing to address the city's affordability crisis. Late last month, Adams began weighing whether to pack the Rent Guidelines Board with members opposed to Mamdani's plan to freeze the rent on the city's one million regulated apartments. Those appointees would remain in place when Mamdani took office, potentially setting up an unprecedented legal battle over whether the new mayor could fire them. Adams has not yet announced any new appointees. Eleonora Srugo, a real estate agent and star of a Netflix reality show, "Selling the City," declined Adams' job offer.

More

Outgoing disgraced Mayor Eric Adams was pardoned by Dummkopf Trumpf for a host of corruption charges. Acting the part of a marplot and sore loser, Adams bleated "I'm the mayor until December 31st." So, he announced additional funding to hire 5,000 police officers, while Zohran Mamdani's announced his intention to keep the police headcount at its current level of 35,000 officers. Under the peccable Eric Adams, the NYPD has failed to reach that headcount, even by lowering education standards and the minimum age. Once Mamdani takes office, he will have to decide whether to rescind the $316 million Adams allocated to hire the additional officers. The move would be largely symbolic since the city can't meet its currently budgeted staffing levels. While the NYPD is having difficulty recruiting personnel, over 50,000 people enthusiastically applied for positions at all levels in Zohran Mamdani's new administration, swamping their jobs portal. Islamophobes, sore losers, AIPAC, the oligarchs, and landlords want to see the Muslim Mayor of NYC fail because his message, platform, and religion all pose a direct threat to the well-entrenched status quo. Next year, world leaders such as Ukraine President Volodomir Zelensky, Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum, and Ireland's Taoiseach Micheal Martin will no doubt happily meet Mayor Zohran Mamdani when they address UNGA in NYC next year.

The sooner the loathsome coterie of Eric Adams, Dummkopf Trumpf, Andrew Cuomo, Chuck Schumer, and George Santos depart the Big Apple, the better.

Yeah, I have seem the animosity of mayor Adams against Mayor-elect Mamdani on the local news.

It seems mayor Adams is stalling on even having any transition talks with Mayor-elect Mamdani.

To me, that just shows that Mayor Adams doesn't care enough about the people of NYC to even try to work towards a smooth transition to the Mayor-elect chosen in a large majority by the people of NYC.

It just shows to me who controls Mayor Adams. Not the people of NYC.
