DHS Targeting Louisiana and Mississippi Next

Approximately 250 federal border agents are set to descend on New Orleans in the coming weeks for a two-month immigration crackdown dubbed "Swamp Sweep" that aims to arrest and deport roughly 5,000 people across southeast Louisiana and into Mississippi.

Only a genuine white supremacist and rabid loyal fascist would relish at personally leading these operations in full tactical military gear. Gregory Bovino (55) had been referred to as a "Commander-at-Large" of the US Border Patrol, a rank with no statutory basis. Bovino operates outside of the Border Patrol's command structure, reporting directly to D/DHS Kristi Noem. In full tactical military gear, Bovino looks like a US Army Colonel or General combating ISIS or the Taliban in a war-zone, not a senior law-enforcement officer on the urban streets of America.

I do not disagree.

For Pres Trump, it seems to be about the optics, and not the results.

Wasting tax-payer dollars for optics.

America has had porous borders ever since 1964 when the Bracero Program was ended. It was how crops got picked, though it was also why it was so hard for the field workers to organize. IF Trump were really serious he would have had his gang pass draconian laws against big employers of those who are undocumented. Every hard right to outright fascist political movement has as its banner cause...hate on the strangers.
