Darci Marie Lambert (24) and Jordan Nathaniel McGuire (34) allowed their starving pit bull Ella to maul and eat their two-year-old infant Locklyn McGuire.

Darci Marie Lambert and Jordan Nathaniel McGuire knew their pit bull Ella had previously attacked Locklyn on 6 Nov, which caused disfiguring injuries to their child's head and face. The mother told investigators that her daughter required plastic surgery following the attack and that she believed Ella was responsible.

Medical staff determined the injuries were consistent with a dog bite and filed a report with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. However, neither police nor animal welfare authorities were contacted, and the pit bull remained in the home.
Police later removed four dogs from the home, three of which appeared malnourished. Darci Marie Lambert and Jordan Nathaniel McGuire were both charged with second-degree murder in connection with the 18 Nov death of their daughter, Locklyn McGuire. She would have been three on 12 Dec.

This horrible vignette captures just about everything wrong with America: Couples having children when they shouldn't even be thinking of procreation, child abuse, animal abuse, food insecurity, poverty, and dysfunctional government. These two miscreants are probably part of the 33% of people that don't vote in US elections, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out they are vociferous Dummkopf Trumpf supporters.

An arrest is merely an allegation. Darci Marie Lambert and Jordan Nathaniel McGuire are both presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of a law. After conviction, the sentencing judge can throw away the keys to their prison cells.

This other charmer has been in the news in the area where I used to live:

"A Bristol, Virginia, woman is facing charges of felony abuse and neglect of children, according to the Bristol, Virginia Police Department. Police say 20-year-old Kendal Fortner left three kids at home alone overnight. Police also say the oldest was five years old and the youngest was eight months old."

I lived in Appalachia from 2000 to 2023. Obama brought out much of that current 33 percent. There was a changeover in the electorate. That's purely anecdotal from working the gauntlet of handing out literature for a few cycles. After 2008, I gave up as a didn't need being called a n--- lover from 80-year-old women.

The first time I heard the expression "n--- lover" was last century in the film The Sting (1973) when the three flim-flam men set up an easy mark at the beginning of the movie. To make the phony robbery attempt look good, one of the accomplices yells "n--- lover" to his accomplice, Johnny Hooker (played by the immortal Robert Redford).

I know a family that left Alabama because each of them would hear the word "n---" daily, in any circumstance conceivable. I would have suffered a myocardial infarction if I heard that word spoken so casually and so often.

Yeah, the USA is doing Jim Dandy thanks to Kendal Fortner, Darci Marie Lambert, and Jordan Nathaniel McGuire.
