More from the article ...

... According to polling by Quantus Insights, the proportion of people from the suburbs who approve of the president has declined from -3 percentage points in September to -16 points in December.

Newsweek reached out to the White House by email to comment on this story.

Why It Matters

Maintaining a strong approval rating among all groups, including suburban voters, will be important for Trump as the GOP approaches the November 2026 midterms and seeks to protect its slim majority in the House of Representatives and Senate.

While he is not on the ballot, these elections are seen as a way for voters to cast their judgment on how well Trump and the administration is doing and so his polling can have huge ramifications on the Republican Party. ...

You will see more and more vulnerable republic*nts try to slither away from Dopey Don next year.

He is a lame duck already.

His endorsement is toxic.

Looks like Pres Trump is going to deliver an address from the White House tomorrow (Wednesday) night.

He seems to want to talk about his historic accomplishments as the first year of his term winds down ...

@#5 ... That fat duck will have a stroke on live TV ...

At this point, I am just wondering if his advisors can convince him to stay on-topic, and not wander off to talking about sharks or South American snakes ...

... and as I look at my comment in the preview (yeah, I'm paying more attention to preview now), I ask myself, am I really talking about the President of the United States?

The State of the Union speech is going to be a riot. Probably in the form of a "graphic novella".
