Man Sentenced to Life Plus 84 Months for Trump Kill Plot

US District Judge Aileen M. Cannon (Southern District of Florida) sentenced Ryan Wesley Routh (59) to life plus 84 months in federal prison for the attempted assassination of then-presidential candidate Donald J. Trump and related violent and firearms offenses.

Comments

"Ryan Routh's heinous attempted assassination of President Dummkopf Trumpf was not only an attack on our Dear Leader-- it was a direct assault against our entirely corrupted democratic system," brayed incompetent sycophant USAG Pamela Bondi. "Routh will never walk free again."

"Routh's plan to kill a major presidential candidate, President Dotard Trumpf, was a despicable attack on the democratic system that Trumpf has been undermining since seizing power on 20 Jan 2025," bleated the massively underqualified FBI Director Kashyap Pramod Vinod Patel. "[Routh] will pay a high price for his actions. Today's absolutely over-the-top sentencing demonstrates our thoroughly corrupted justice system will not tolerate such heinous attacks."

The Instant Offense

"On 15 Sep 2024, then-USSS SA Robert Fercano " who was patrolling one hole ahead of the president at the golf course " spotted Ryan Routh pointing an AK-style rifle. SA Agent Fercano, in fear for his life and the life of Dummkopf Trumpf, opened fire at Routh, who fled. Law enforcement subsequently found a loaded SKS-style rifle equipped with a scope, a magazine containing an additional nineteen rounds of ammunition and the safety off, steel armor plates, and a camera attached to the fence pointing toward the sixth hole green of the golf course, where Routh had been hiding."

~snip~

Ryan Wesley Routh (USMS #35967-511) never got to fire a shot at Dummkopf Trumpf or any USSS SAs. But no surprise that Dummkopf Trumpf worshipper Aileen Cannon imposed life plus 84 months on Routh (59), s sentence which will certainly rehabilitate him. By contrast in Norway, white supremacist Anders Behring Breivik, a monster who murdered 77 people in 2011, was sentenced to 21 years imprisonment.

...Dear Leader...USAG Pamela Bondi...

Did she really call him that, with no hint of irony?

Calling this an attempted assassination is absurd. Dude never stood a chance.

Not only because he would have been spotted long before having an opportunity to actually try but because even if he did the SKS (a notoriously minute of man accurate gun) with a scope duck taped on to it probably wasn't going to be able to make an attempted shot anyway.
