If he'd have promised to have a massive, fatal coronary, I would have watched..but he lies so much I wouldn't have believed him, anyway.

State of the Union has just been pointless blabbering for the most part as long as I can remember. It is however an opportunity for Presidents to get up and tell Americans where we are at and where they think we should be going. With Trump it goes to a new level of (censored) we always know his speeches are a circus act that revolve around him, his ego, those that slighted him in some form and his perceived enemies. I couldn't get past 5 minutes of his drivel so no I didn't watch.

The world is tired of Donald Trump.

The only thing that might help Trump's viewership would be 1984-style telescreens or nudity served up by his press secretary...

I didn't watch it. First time I missed one by deliberate choice in as long as I can remember.
I refuse to watch him flagrantly lie while Republicans drool in ecstatic approval.

I think we should stop having an annual SOTU address. It's a divisive waste of time. It wasn't defined this way in the Constitution. The POTUS can simply email it in to fulfil the legal requirements.

If you feel like you need this speech to be informed, you're already not staying informed.
