After Trump practically begged Iran for a Ceasefire through Pakistan envoys, he's now blaming NATO for him losing the war he started.

He needs to be 25th NOW!

*** UN: Risk of Spreading Disease and PTSD Increasing in Lebanese Population ***

"With displacement in Lebanon past the one million mark, UN humanitarians warned about the spread of infectious diseases in shelters and surging mental health needs.

The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) reports that while more than one million have been internally displaced within Lebanon since 2 March, nearly 200,000 Syrians have fled the country to Syria -- already marked by massive internal displacement -- along with nearly 32,000 Lebanese. Lebanon's population stands at around 5.8 million.

Source: And here we thought Hamas or Al Qaida were nasty

Thread needs more Censored to explain how this is all actually Lebanon's fault.

Israel has no choice but to displace a million non-Jews, to make room for the Jews!

Meanwhile covert AIPAC-ers will cajole and convince us to vote for Democrats to kick out the Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections on Tuesday 3 Nov 2026.

So, we should reward the very same AIPAC Democrats and status quo dinosaurs who dragged us down to the sewer with our vote?

Didn't we learn anything from Tuesday 5 Nov 2024?

There are plenty of non-AIPAC Democrats to vote for and plenty of bipartisan AIPAC politicians to vote out of office. Take a look here

Israel signed peace with Egypt in 1979.
Not a single Israeli bomb on Egypt since then.

Israel signed peace with Jordan in 1994.
Not a single Israeli bomb on Jordan since then.

Israel signed peace with UAE in 2020.
Not a single Israeli bomb on UAE since then (not that it did before).

Thread needs more Censored to explain how this is all actually Lebanon's fault.

For allowing Palestinians in their country in the 1970, now they have no control over their own country.

The Lebanese government even publicly condemned Hezbollah's ceasefire breaking strikes against Israel for endangering and undermining the Lebanese state.

Hezzis freely admit they attacked Israel, breaking a cease fire, not because Isreal attacked Iran.

no surprise since your sources refuse to tell you the whole story.

#5 apparently you haven't learned a dumb thing.

Don't be surprised when you're blamed (rightfully) when the GOP retains power because you're short sighted and foolish.

Dumb = damn

Stupid new phone. I'm really not liking Android.

JPW:

Why worry about or castigate me?

I am but one voice in the universe.

Instead of blaming me, focus your ire on those people in both political parties who for decades have supported ethnic cleansing Palestinians-- and now the Lebanese people south of the Litani River-- with our tax dollars.

If you can live with all the misery that Israel is causing to Muslims in the Middle East, then so be it.

I can't and I won't.

I'm not an Islamophobe or Arab-hater, like others I've coma across in the blogosphere or the streets of NYC.

You want your children to live, thrive, and prosper, right, JPW?

Well, so do the parents of Palestinian, Lebanese, Iranian, or Syrian children.

"Florida Democrat Allison Minnerly, who sponsored a resolution condemning AIPAC interference in US elections, said the party's base was owed more than procedural deflection:

"Democrats overwhelmingly want a party that stands for human rights and against increased conflict in the Middle East."

So, we can all vote for progressive candidates that are not MIGA-- and there are plenty-- like Graham Platner, Allison Minnerly, James Talarico, or Zohran Mamdani.

Maybe you're unaware of how this place works?

In any case, that's a lot of straw. All of your appeal to emotion arguments aren't very good arguments and rest on a metric to of assumptions.

But you do you and keep chirping your self righteousness while you enable the very people who are far worse for your cause with ZERO chance of change.

#17 | Posted by jpw at 2026-04-11 01:44 PM

JPW:

AIPAC enables ethnic cleansing.

Who am I enabling?

I was civil with you at all times and answered all of your questions whenever you asked me anything.

Now you write that I am "chirping" and "self-righteous" and that "I don't know how this place works?"

Good bye.

#18 | Posted by C0RI0LANUS at 2026-04-11 01:54 PM

Who am I enabling?

The same thing that was enabled in 2024 by folks being shortsighted and staying home - the continued dominance of people who are far worse than any AIPAC backed Dem.

Because the Dems aren't perfect, you're increasing the likelihood of the continued power of folks who are worse. You know, the whole cut off your nose to spite your face sort of thing?

I know you voted in 2024 for Harris, but you continue to push purity over pragmatism as if the negatives aren't significantly greater across the board for EVERYONE, not just those in Gaza.

(the do you know how this works was asked because you seemed surprised that I responded to you when that is the entire point of this place...)
