"With displacement in Lebanon past the one million mark, UN humanitarians warned about the spread of infectious diseases in shelters and surging mental health needs.

The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) reports that while more than one million have been internally displaced within Lebanon since 2 March, nearly 200,000 Syrians have fled the country to Syria -- already marked by massive internal displacement -- along with nearly 32,000 Lebanese. Lebanon's population stands at around 5.8 million.

Meanwhile covert AIPAC-ers will cajole and convince us to vote for Democrats to kick out the Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections on Tuesday 3 Nov 2026.

Instead of blaming me, focus your ire on those people in both political parties who for decades have supported ethnic cleansing Palestinians-- and now the Lebanese people south of the Litani River-- with our tax dollars.

If you can live with all the misery that Israel is causing to Muslims in the Middle East, then so be it.

Well, so do the parents of Palestinian, Lebanese, Iranian, or Syrian children.

So, we can all vote for progressive candidates that are not MIGA-- and there are plenty-- like Graham Platner, Allison Minnerly, James Talarico, or Zohran Mamdani.
