Texas Gov Greg Abbott Threatens Cities over ICE Policies

Gov. Greg Abbott (R) has threatened to cut state funding to three of Texas' largest cities if they fail to change policies that the governor says limit police cooperation with ICE.

It's a mystery to me as well.

In NYS, we have a MIGA/MAGA maniac named Bruce Blakeman (R) running for governor.

This dead-end AIPAC-er didn't lower the flags to half-mast in Nassau County when POTUS Jimmy Carter died, he set up surveillance cameras at the NYC-Nassau County border because of NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D), and Blakeman empowered several Nassau County PD detectives to enforce ICE laws.

These meshuganas somehow think fascism and ethnic cleansing is a winning ticket for Tuesday 3 Nov 2026.

Boy, there are going to be a lot of angry judges in Texas when cases get delayed creating backlogs because this interpreter was locked up by ICE.

In my area, the Hispanic labor force is practically gone. Construction and farming are grinding to a standstill. Good luck finding that affordable housing. They aren't building any. And good luck with those grocery prices when far less is getting planted or picked.

Greg Abbott and Ron DeSatan are the two worst state governors in America.

Both should run for POTUS and VPOTUS in 2028 on their track records to ensure a non-Republican Party win.

Not the first time I have seen a similar comment.

Significant parts of our economy seem to be based upon the dedication and labor of those undocumented aliens.

Farming, construction, to name two.

So, is the real problem those who come to the US looking for a better life, or the companies that hire those who may actually be illegal to hire?

Perhaps Pres Trump is going after the wrong crowd here.
