I served during Vietnam. I think a draft is a good idea. Why? Because once Senators and Congress people's children and family are required to go into battle and start becoming casualties, they will consider war from a different perspective. Right now congress has NO skin in the game.
As for VA funding, it should be dollar for dollar. If you are going to give a Trillion dollars to the bomb makers, they should be taxed at 90% to support the war effort. No more "War for Profit"!!
Then we give the VA the exact amount of funding as the bomb makers to care for our warriors once their broken bodies and corpses come home.

There is zero evidence this had anything to do with raw milk and even the authorities say there is no proof. This is likely big AG/Dairy propaganda as most outbreaks of Listeria are caused by thinhs like prepackaged spinach, fruits or salads.

They should start a draft again. And require all of congress member's children to serve for 2 years.

Once a few senators sons are eligible for cannon fodder maybe they will grow a pair.
