They were most certainly NOT vigorous questioning Trump. Trump was allowed to speak and no one could even hear reporter's questions. We'd have heard the ado if they all jumped up like they usually do.

It was as quiet as a funeral. Which, in a way, it was ... of his flailing campaign.

Trump had to rehire Kelly Anne Conway to his campaign, since it was basically rudderless. Not so sure she's the MVP Trump's campaign needs, but goes to show they're trying to pull anyone and everyone off the bench even with 3 innings (i.e., 3 months) left in the ball game.

Our local Kroger never has more than one of the 12 checkout lines with cashiers open.

As I said, Publix's prices are competetive, and a much nicer experience.

We also shop at ALDI.

We really have to feel sorry for all the retirees in Florida condos. New requirements to upgrade structures after the Surfside condo collapse left many with $60-$150,000 bills from their condo associations few can afford. Many retirees are having to go back to work just to pay that surprise bill, if they can. If they don't, the condo associations will foreclose on them.

Publix's prices are competitive in my market.

Kroger may be unionized, but they don't pay enough to attract potential employees. I mean, ONE checkout line with a cashier on Friday night?! I asked the manager, "why don't you have more checkout lines open? I'm paying to do my own work in self-checkout."
