I coined a term to describe the "Christians" who truly don't care about the suffering of others: "Torquemada Christians."

The same ilk who'd have brought picnic baskets to burnings at the stake, screaming for more wood on the fire.

At least some of the MAGAts may read the Constitution for the first time since 6th grade.

They'll be loathe to discover there are MANY amendments (and maybe read the full text of the 2nd Amendment for the first time.)

According to new reporting by The Oklahoman, state Superintendent Ryan Walters opened bids to purchase 55,000 Bibles for schools. Interestingly, a Bible endorsed by Donald Trump, known as "Lee Greenwood's God Bless the U.S.A. Bible," is one of only two that fits the bill"and the other one is endorsed by his son, Donald Jr.

"If the Bibles cost $60 each, and the state buys 55,000, that's $3.3 million."

The only thing keeping him alive is massive amounts of daily stimulants and steroids. The crash of drug abuse or a major stroke will get him sooner than later.

Dems siphoned off hundreds of millions of dollars from FEMA to fund other things. That is what they voted against. But you know that. Be sure to also thank a striking port worker when the victims can't get any supplies.

Obama slashed deficits by 2/3rds. Trump and the GOP - all by themselves - slashed our income ... again.

Reduce income and increase spending and most households would eventually end up in bankruptcy court.

Vance's non-answer about the 2020 election is THE topic every non-right wing news org has been talking about from the debate.

Trump's mentally unfit. We're supposed to let him have the nuclear launch codes?! Other highlights:

PS - I don't think the VP debate is going to move the needle one way or the other.

JD Vance is a jerk on the campaign trail, and people have seen months of his nonsensical, arrogant act.

The last exchange (does Vance think Trump lost 2020) is what anyone's talking about. Between that and today's release of Jack Smith's revised indictment, the Trump team didn't have a good 24 hours at all.

I think most voters know a VP doesn't control policy.

Except for Dick Cheney, VPs are behind the scenes doing whatever a particular president wants them to. Some more, some less.

Publicly, it's nodding in agreement and attending funerals.
