We sold 200 working acres a couple of years ago to my wife's cousins, lifelong farmers.
They voted for Trump but are PO'd as hell because his tariffs have ruined their market for soybeans and caused the price to collapse since the tariffs kicked in. China, their largest buyer, said "--" to Trump and now buy their soybeans from Brazil instead.
In addition, fertilizer (most of it is imported from Canada) and equipment costs have skyrocketed. They'll lose money this year.
