My wife's cousins are Trumpers and farmers. They're super po'd now because the price of everything from fertilizer to farm equipment has skyrocketed while the price of the soybeans they planted fell below what they can make a profit on after China said "f this" and aren't buying U.S. grown soybeans.

We sold 200 working acres a couple of years ago to my wife's cousins, lifelong farmers.

They voted for Trump but are PO'd as hell because his tariffs have ruined their market for soybeans and caused the price to collapse since the tariffs kicked in. China, their largest buyer, said "--" to Trump and now buy their soybeans from Brazil instead.

In addition, fertilizer (most of it is imported from Canada) and equipment costs have skyrocketed. They'll lose money this year.

Interesting. So liberals like yourself demonize Trump for trying to stop crime in places where people have to live because they cant live where you do.

Because you are opposed to Trump, does that mean you are opposed to the results Trump has gotten?

I don't think that's a winning strategy for Democrats.

The NG ARE NOT patrolling the high crime areas of D.C. where they could do some good. They're where tourists go ... National Mall, Capitol Hill, etc.

Trump isn't sending them into projects and high crime areas where their presence might actually help.
