Yesterday, we wrote roughly 5,000 words on the shooting in Minneapolis, and didn't even get to half of the things we intended to discuss. That's the price of admission around here, we suppose; everyone knows that if you're someone who needs 10,000-20,000 words to say what you want to say, the punishment is that you either have to: (1) go to grad school in history or (2) go to law school.

1. The 2030 census. For a few years now we've seen people moving out of blue states and into red states. If Dems can sprinkle these aliens around blue states AND get them counted in the census they can prevent the loss of reps and electoral college votes.
2. Advance political power. Here is what they tried to do with a bare minimum in the House, 50/50 Senate and auto pen: Nuke the filibuster which was thwarted by a whopping 2 Senators. With that done, add as many SCOTUS seats with activist hacks needed to rubber stamp their agenda from legal battles. Grant Puerto Rico and DC (a ------- city) statehood giving Dems 4 more Senators. Create a national voting law that strips away as many protections and security measures as possible.
3. This wasn't attempted but having cemented power in the Senate and SCOTUS mass amnesty followed with a very quick path to citizenship conditioned on mandatory voting registration. And voila, quite possibly a permanent majority. Then why not flood the zone with millions more illegal aliens with amnesty and quick citizenship every couple of years. Tens of millions of people getting that kind of a deal are not going to look a gift horse in the mouth when it comes time to vote
