I've been checked out the last couple of days. Busy living my life and enjoying not following news and politics. So, in a very short period of time a lot has happened. When it comes to right and wrong and geopolitics, this move makes sense to me.

HAVING SAID THAT, this sure as heck seems like an act that should require congressional approval. Is the AUMF that was issued over 20 years ago really this broad? I don't think so.

I can come up with a lot of justifications for this. The one I can't come up with is procedure. And in my book, that is what matters most. We don't follow procedure? We don't have a functional government.
