I don't see any connection between toilets and healthcare.

Concerning trans healthcare, I think minors are a big topic and rightfully so. Minors can't make that decision and adults shouldn't make it for them.

As for adults, this looks to me more like plastic surgery which is generally not covered unless it's life threatening.

Using the argument, "I'm going to kill myself if I don't get it" should be treated as a mental health crisis and be addressed through psychiatric care.

We could play this all night and I don't feel like it again.

The public had mostly not thought about transgender "rights" but they have since been illuminated to the subject.

I don't see how you can say the word "equality" with a straight face with all the problems trying to accommodate them.

Two of the upcoming three seats in the Supreme Court coming open, the next president would be able to nominate their own selection. Two had been nominated by Reagan so they would be replaced with judges nominated by Hillary.

If the current court passed Gay Marriage, replacing those seats with judges nominated by Hillary, would make the court more liberal.

The Supreme Court could more easily pass whatever liberals wanted such as a transgender case.

You can say passing Gay Marriage had something to do with my voting for Trump, but it wasn't that I took issue with Gay Marriage.

Turning against Democrats happened more slowly and wasn't a single event but voting for Trump was more tied to wanting to see a republican fill the upcoming 3 seats.

Before you point out the obvious, yes I know, transgenders have been around for ages too and have blended in using the restroom that more fits their appearance.

But it all changed when it became political. I never heard anyone complaining during my lifetime about this. But now it's become a major topic discussion as liberals wanted it.

When all this blew up in the media, I posted that transgenders will rue the day liberals turned their quite, private world into a media circus.

Now laws will need passed to shut up the kooks.

Spare me. Hillary Clinton would have done exactly the same thing, just in the opposite ideological direction. That's how Supreme Court nominations work, whether people admit it or not.

The difference is the downstream impact of a Hillary win. Under a Democratic presidency, cultural policy would not have evolved naturally. Instead it would have been imposed through social and corporate pressure, as had already begun.

Women would have been expected to silently accept biological males in women's bathrooms and women's sports, regardless of fairness or safety. Decades of progress for female athletes would have been sacrificed in the name of a peculiar ideological compliance.

On that issue alone, Trump served as a necessary obstacle to liberal insanity.

He doesn't seem to be aware that 90% of South America identifies as Christian.

His opinions on Christian Nationalism is overlooking that.

Is he implying Christianity is a white religion and Christians are racist?

A Chromebook is a real PC, but it's inflexible by design. The hardware is real, but the operating system is intentionally limited. Chrome is mandatory.

You can't switch system browsers.

Think of it as a browser first, with PC hardware built around it.

Not my first choice for a laptop.

I left off my last laptop was Lenovo. Been great.

I buy used laptops almost exclusively, but only from sellers who offer a 30"90 day warranty and accept returns. If a seller says "no returns," I walk away.

Once I get it, I use it heavily during the return window. I run Windows Memory Diagnostic (built into Windows " just type Windows Memory Diagnostic in the Start menu) to test the RAM, and CrystalDiskInfo (free download from crystalmark.info) to check the health of the SSD. Better to find problems early.

Always get an SSD, not an HDD. SSDs are dramatically faster, have no moving parts, are more reliable in laptops, and make the system feel instantly responsive instead of sluggish.

Prefer at least a 1TB drive if possible, and 16GB of RAM is the practical minimum these days.
