That still causes me to believe, if I was in his shoes, at the moment he fired she was moving forward and he had no way of knowing her intentions either to turn left towards him or the other way.

I've flipped flop thru this thread...I believed he was wrong to use lethal force for most of the thread.

However, watching videos and reading, I now believe at the moment he fired, he had no way of knowing her intent if this "agitator" was going to turn left towards him or right to leave. His argument of "self defense" I believe will succeed.

That will be for the legal system to decide.

Was she about to turn left toward him or right and away? From his position, that uncertainty matters.

Put yourself in his place. He could reasonably have believed his life was in danger. An automobile can be used as a weapon.

A self defense claim may reasonably be valid and succeed.

Riots will follow....but realistically, they were going to happen anyway.

Then they yelled get out of the car and moved in on her and the whole dynamics changed.

But was likely intending on moving her out and picking up her partner and dog.

It's being reported she had been following and irritating and video recording the cops for some time.

But...damn...I'd hate to be in his shoes.

At this point in the timeline, it is to be expected "self defense" will be what is reported and that is appropriate right now.

Anyone who reports otherwise is taking it upon themselves to make decisions only the legal system can do.

Notice in the video when the cop shoots at the woman, the other cops start moving from him and leaves him standing alone.

He's likely thinking, "oh...fudge'.

Her wheels were turning to the right.

He'll have to do better than "self defense", IMO.
