New data shows that an IP address linked to a user account that left dozens of racist and disturbing comments on an online pornography forum can be traced to a location not far from the North Carolina home of Mark Robinson, the Republican candidate for state governor, further bolstering a report last week that Robinson was the person who posted about being a "black NAZI" on the site. read more
While Russia has a poor reputation for its treatment of immigrants in general, citizens of any country on the list of mostly Western nations wanting to emigrate to Russia are to be granted temporary residence permits, even if they have no knowledge of the Russian language or legal code, both of which are normally prerequisites for foreign nationals wishing to migrate. read more
"So I slowed down, and I whipped out my camera, and I started taking video," he recalled. "And I took a video of them pulling things and rummaging through this car, and they saw me, and I think " that actually, they knew I was videotaping, that stopped them, so they stopped what they were doing." The two masked individuals can be seen throwing small cartons at Dietrich's vehicle, and then they sped away in a black car. The cartons thrown at Dietrich appeared to be filled with a Brazilian heavy cream, which wound up splattered all over Dietrich's car. read more
Responding to a question on whether he would run again if he lost, the 78-year-old former president told US outlet Full Measure: "No, I don't. I think that that will be, that will be it. I don't see that at all."

Iran's President Says He's Prepared to Ease Tensions with Israel
Why? Did Israel stop being Jewish? Or did the Iranians convert? Death to USA and Death to Israel, not so much?
""We're willing to put all our weapons aside so long as Israel is willing to do the same," Pezeshkian told reporters Monday ahead of the UN General Assembly in New York. "We're not seeking to destabilize the region.""
LOL! Maybe should have thought of that before siccing Hamas on Israel to sabotage Saudi normalization.
Oh I get it. HezzBallzOff finds itself at a disadvantage. And maybe the 50,000 (?) Palestinians Iran sacrificed to accomplish nothing is causing a few Palestinians to realize the Iran isn't their BFF?
Welp, Hamas and Iran started this and I think Israel will get to decide when it ends (seeing as how Hamas has already turned down Israels offer to cease hostilities if Hamas cedes control).
"I think we will be able to provide safe passage to him [Hamas leader Sinwar], his family, whoever he wants to take with him. If [he wants] to take ten, take ten. Thousands! I don't care," Hirsch told CBS News.www.msn.com 9/17/2024
In return, he said Hamas would have to relinquish control of the Gaza Strip and allow the return of the remaining 101 hostages.
"It would be the end of the war, as [the hostages] will be recovered," Hirsch said.

Sending an aircraft carrier crew to front line ground operations?
This is the best use of Russian manpower since they drafted that pediatric neurosurgeon and marched him into combat, rifle in hand.

Most western countries require ID to vote.

Most western countries also provide each and every citizen with an ID card from the moment they are born. Many of those nations providing them free of charge.
Guess which nation doesn't do so? I'll give you the hint, it's the one where you want to disenfranchise ~7% (1.6 million voters) of the population to stop about 1,500 voting fraud cases (www.heritage.org) over the last 30 years. So yeah, let's disenfranchise 1,598,500 voters to stop that 1,500 (who were caught under existing laws) because I'm sure tens of millions of voting fraud cases are going undetected according to MAGAt logic. How do they know? The GOP/Trump told them.
Never imagined that we would have an iteration of Ron Popeil running for US president, but here we are. https://t.co/zv943GPRou" Rod Dreher (@roddreher) September 21, 2024
does anyone remember the handle of the poster who was a woman from PA who worked in healthcare? I haven't seen her post in a while, and I've been wondering what happened to her?

There's no way Trump's SCOTUS would allow anything to come of this, of course.
Jill Stein 2024! What have you got to lose?
