This was actually a success for Iran. Iran was sending a message. "We have missiles that can get through the Iron Dome and can reach Tel Aviv." They hit only military targets (unlike Israel). Yes, Iran only attacks military targets. Like when they instructed Hamas to attack that "military" music festival on October 7th. "Iran and state-sponsored terrorism" Wikipedia

Anywho, these 180 rockets were about 7% of Iran's estimated stock (3,000) from a year or so ago www.cnn.com. So Iran could definitely get through and hit some Israeli targets if they shot their entire load. Only question is what happens afterwards, since even 10,000 missiles wouldn't eliminate Israel's military response. And that's not taking into account the US, UK, and French response.
