I realize that blaming immigration issues solely on Dems is your bag but, as I already mentioned before, the GOP sabotaged immigration reforms so ... Seems to me that high inflation was the issue that was universal amongst all nations.

Hope the GOP does this as it will help eliminate the filibuster, which the GOP uses to stifle all progress.

It will give Dems cover to start passing laws with a simple Senate majority once they hold the reins again.

Stocks are down since inauguration day, but right around where it was before Trump won the election. So, I suppose Trump could rationalize market manipulation theft, claiming that he is just taking back what is rightfully his (i.e., all the value he added to the market by winning).

Stocks may have had inflated values before all of this, but Trump dropping the economic equivalent of a hydrogen bomb on manufacturing and sales operations is not a correction of prior overvaluation. That's deliberately sabotaging the national and world economy for personal profit by shorting stocks.

It is nice to see some on the left demonstrate some economic sense when it comes to tariffs. I happen to agree with the criticisms of tariffs from an economic standpoint.

Tariffs can serve a purpose. E.g., protect fledgling domestic industries, level the playing field to compensate for foreign subsidies to their own businesses, etc.

This is just ludicrous, targeting friend and foe alike. There is only one reason for it, so Trump can manipulate the stock market and make billions shorting it.
