"Buyer beware is what I think."
Same here. ESPECIALLY if they're advertising it, up front.
"I have several friends who are CPAs. I'm sure they would stay away from "advising" clients on investment strategies"
I don't advise on individual investments, just what actions to do to get you there.
1. Decide what you're looking for on the Risk/Reward Wheel
2. Find a Morningstar 4 and 5 star list.
3. Find a Lipper Quartiles list.
4. If it's not on both lists, it's not on your list.
5. Lay out the histories, and let them speak
6. Know that a 5-star fund, with 1,3,5,10 and Lifetime stars of 2.2.2.2 and 2, means they're having a good night at the casino.
7. Know that a 4 star fund, with 5.4.5.5.5, is managed by folks who run the same races, but win A LOT more often.
8. If you can't decide, split the money among the winners.
9. Revisit in 6 months, and decide if you want to consolidate to the better performer.
What do you think?
"OCR concluded..."
So it's one opinion.
"OCR received athletic rosters..."
So...they only looked at names, not at...you know, the humans involved.
"....indicating that male students may occupy up to 61 roster positions on girls' sports teams"
So...basically, every unisex name was counted. So if the girl is named Logan, or Avery, or Harper, or Riley, or Madison, or River...they might be a boy!! And God forbid if Samantha is going by her nickname!
Meanwhile, from Google AI:
Based on testimony from NCAA President Charlie Baker in December 2024, there are believed to be fewer than 10 openly transgender student-athletes competing within the NCAA, out of more than 510,000 total college athletes.
