Call me what you want, but I'd gladly turn over all my assets and earning potential if I never had to pay for anything ever again.

And still hope to contribute to a better common world.

WTF is SDA, Petrous?

Doesn't it help to have a clue before posting for a reaction?

It's not a one-off typo. You're out of your element.

I think I would pick up on it.

Years of posting history notwithstanding. The only thing usually picked up is your keyboard when you want to run home to mommy.

I think this all began after GHW Bush threw up in the Japan PM's lap, hit the deck, and was replaced by the time he came up for air.

"Fight! Fight! Fight!"

"forever diarrhea"

Points for making that the second line of a haiku.

What might be happening around the world right now if Kamala had won?
I suspect Obama would likely have a great deal of say in what's going on.
The southern border would be worse than ever.

Please remind me what topics are you trying to avoid here. I can't keep up.

How come trump can't seem to hire anyone who didn't hang out with epstein?

At least closeted homosexuality has closed off a few GOP generations from this stain, at the other end of the rainbow.

"But Iran is wrong about everything. I said so. I'll trust the Trumps because I said so.
"I can't explain it anymore."

I eagerly anticipate Barron's becoming tabloid chum.

chum

Lighter talks to himself all the time here. This isn't the first, second or third time it's been brought up either.

The DR's absolute worst ratio of column inches to useful content -- and that's saying a hell of a lot.

And that's before the song lyrics.

Everyone's got a posting style and can stick with it as long as they want.

My gatekeeping comment for the day. For now.

Given the presumed advertising content inherent in the ... content, he should have to buy screen time.

Cash up front, of course.

Certain color M&M'S in their room?

Childhood dolls arranged just so?

Precious.

170. I'd drive 100 miles out of my way to see that house.

Has it remained consistently occupied since then?

But I don't really consider that area to be part of the south. That's FL/AL/MS/LA...plus maybe sections of a few other states.

Panhandle represents.

Which circles back to the topic thread.

AI prompt: How much of the US landmass has access to public transportation?

Public transportation is highly concentrated in localized urbanized areas. While no single percentage perfectly captures the entire US landmass, studies indicate that highly walkable, transit-rich urbanized zones account for approximately 1.2% of the nation's total landmass among the top 35 metropolitan areas.

For a more detailed breakdown of how transit access, geography, and demographics interact across the United States:

Landmass Coverage: Walkable urban spaces equipped with mass transit represent only 1.2% of the land supply in the top 35 metropolitan areas.

Population vs. Geography: While the landmass footprint is small, about 55% of the US population has access to public transportation, while an estimated 45% of Americans have no practical access at all.

Urbanized Areas: Around 452 urbanized areas across the US, which house roughly 65% of the total US population, have populations over 50,000 and are the primary hubs for public transit networks.

Rural and Intercity Transit: For rural Americans, intercity transportation access is different; about 85% of rural residents live within 25 to 75 miles of an intercity bus, rail, or commercial airport.

There is no public transportation where you live?

How much of the US landmass do you think has access to public transportation?

Sometimes you're interesting.

I went to college in Charlotte, so I've been to both. But I don't really consider that area to be part of the south. That's FL/AL/MS/LA...plus maybe sections of a few other states.

Where are you now, Germany?

"I don't really consider that area to be part of the south." Well, then you're just an idiot. Plenty of southerners from those areas would be happy to kick your dumb ass just for fun. You don't consider Charlotte (home of NASCAR) or Richmond (capital of the Confederacy) or Atlanta (GWIW) the South? Or Nashville? GFY.

Your only idea of the South is swamps. Sucks for you. Again, like Speaks, what happened to you in the South?

"Damn, Kansas was bad for a few years of my life. Everything between North Dakota and North Texas out to Colorado is a --------."

I don't think that, but you may as well.

Everything I know about Kansas I've learned from In Cold Blood and a friend who was at Fort Hays for decades and, well, Eberly. I don't dump on Kansas, because I don't know enough about it. It's completely neutral to me. I imagine it's still as Capote had it, run mostly by white conservatives who are trying to live normal lives. But maybe I'm just unimaginative.

On 23 March 1980, Archbishop Romero delivered a sermon in which he called on Salvadoran soldiers, as Christians, to obey God's higher order and to stop carrying out the government's repression and violations of basic human rights.

[Evening of 24 March], Romero celebrated Mass at a small chapel at Hospital de la Divina Providencia (Divine Providence Hospital), a church-run hospital specializing in oncology and care for the terminally ill. Romero finished his sermon, stepped away from the lectern, and took a few steps to stand at the center of the altar.

As Romero finished speaking, a red car came to a stop on the street in front of the chapel. A gunman emerged from the vehicle, stepped to the door of the chapel, and fired one, or possibly two, shots. Romero was struck in the heart, and the vehicle sped off. He died at the Chapel of Hospital de la Divina Providencia in San Salvador.

Onward Christian soldiers!

I went inside, shaved and showered, and put on my Oscar Romero T-shirt.

Think of it this way. If you're not for Trump, one of the two people you're talking probably is, even if you think otherwise.

When you're in America, America hurts.

39.

Are you trying to make a point?

Asking for BillJohnson

Thx

Again...I ask...are you willing to bet on Iran?
Are you so sure?

#23 | Posted by BillJohnson

Presumably you are steadfast in your thinking that Trump is a rational actor.

I am sure he is not. The Iranians have a more consistent approach to anything than Trump. That is a very low bar.

What makes you so certain that Trump is a rational international presence?

All the while to the chagrin of both Iran and US Progressives, Trump is hammering away.
