Trump just spews numbers that sound good because his naive supporters fall for it every time. He'll talk to a company or country about investing in the US, which they were obviously going to anyway, and suddenly it's "I just made a deal with company/country worth (sounds like a lot of money)".

I saw Republicans claiming that clinging to the boat was "trying to save the drugs". They'll say and believe anything.

Thanks! I should have known better.

It is nice that this is being done but it's not very practical. Parents who can't afford to contribute thousands yearly aren't going to. Parents who can afford to could just do it anyway without the $250. $250 is peanuts compared to all the other money that would have to be put in.

It should have been. There used to be a time when presidents weren't rewarded for lying, cheating and being an outright traitor.

But somehow Trump has always gotten a pass. I don't know how he does it. Debt, failures and bankruptcies? An excellent businessman! Greed, sin and infidelity? A wonderful Christian! Trump's the greatest president in all American history? If you say so, Mr. Trump!

Trump figured he only needed good optics to declare victory. A few videos of "criminals" being detained and taken away and it's "I saved America".

Reality isn't a reality show though. They're supposed to be going after the worst of the worst but they can't find any. So they just go after anyone that looks like they fit the bill.

Trump doesn't care but his supporters are pretty unhappy how mass detainments and deportations are just not that simple.
