As for Harris, I think of how nuts the Reubens went when a Black man was elected president. Twice. A black woman? I think it would be great to let them live with that and ponder the error of their ways, but it isn't a winning strategy.

I think a lot of people understand Trump is a piece of human waste that slithered out from a noxious, open-air industrial chem dump. And they will, in the end, possibly vote for Biden if he's still in the race by then.

Those who do not recognize that fact are either so far off the grid they can't or won't find their way back or bum-arsed ignorant, angry, hateful, downright effin stupid and just don't care. Or they are the plutocrats who he's openly promised to enrich.

Understood. But I am concerned Biden and his enablers have blown it by pretending he's someone he simply isn't. Nearly two weeks after that "debate" this remains the top political story. And it will likely remain so into November. We know Trump's not up to it. And every damn time Biden appears on camera, ventures near a mic, people will hold their breath. That's not a presidential campaign; it's a daily maintenance operation.

Interesting this really concerns a lot of Dems. There's some serious independence there among them.

You could tell Republikkkans Trump's fav daughter bore him a child he incinerated at a local pizza parlor and ate with a knife and fork and they wouldn't blink an eye. Mucho mucho mouth-breathers in that herd.

He will ignore any and all requests for anything, anytime, always, forever, however he deems fit, and pffffft! to naysayers, He's Clarence Thomas, he has a lifetime appointment, and if he ever thought of stepping down he won't go anywhere without being paid off and/or until he gets a fascist prez to nominate another disgusting creature for SCOTUS to replace him or he drops dead in his office clutching a pube-infused cola drink.

An aside: In a recent interview actor Anthony Hopkins recounted some good advice he received from a fellow actor while shooting The Lion in Winter (1968). I'm not anxious to cast another vote while holding my nose (aka Hillary Vote) but I'll do it again with some alacrity if it helps condemn Trump to playing Norma Desmond in Palm Beach until he drops (or better: in a cell). That said, we've been gulled by Biden's people and producing this doctor to vouch for him borders on those obviously bent attempts by Trump to convince people he's absolutely A-OK, ready to go, a pillar of genetic perfection.
