Homeschooling is on of the most idiotic and divisive things that has occurred in this country. I dare say at the very least very few of the home schooling parents are equipped to do so.

I'm curious why you think that a religious practice that puts the health and/or lives of others in the community at risk should be respected?

The One thing Hamas did was unite Jews. They are definitely not all for how the war is being waged but a significant portion of those for peace have turned their back on it. You are correct about a log of things but Jews know what awaits them if they fail to address their external threats. I am not seeing a major out cry about turning their attention to Lebanon. I think it is foolish to do so before they have wrapped up Gaza operations though and those are not close to finished like they telegraphed they were.

This is a furtherance of the rebellion which started in Ingushetia - note that Chechnya is nicely nestled in between the two regions. This is open rebellion against Putin's repression and draining of young men from these regions for his war. They are Muslim and chose to attack their oppressors (Police, Church) and symbols of Israel which many vehemently oppose in the region. Putin is starting to lose control.

People have no clue how much good and bad is going to be coming from AI. The chinese are using it extensively to track civilians in major metro areas now - not just license plates but facial recognition. They have been doing it for years at this point. If you are out in public they can locate you in a couple of minutes and probably less now.

While I disagree with how Israel is waging this war and killing and wounding civilians - that number is bunk. It comes from Hamas. It's like taking Russia's word on casualties in Ukraine. Figure 1/4 to 1/3. We have seen them caught multiple times lying about casualties in a huge fashion.

I'm also assuming (at least hoping) that the local sheriff is asking a few questions around town.
