That didn't make sense but they did make changes for the better in a big way. Actually working with Mexico is a big one. Like Mexico blocks one of the biggest groups, Venezuelans, from even flying to Mexico now if they suspect their purpose is to go to the US.

I dare say the Arabs did that and in this particular case the Palestinians themselves. Israel is the one country we can count on in the Middle East. No US President will fail to support Israel after an attack like that in particular.

That said, Biden works more behind the scenes than in the camera because it is more effective and there has been pressure all along for Israel to not do what they are doing. Sometimes it burbles into the press. But for sure the US isn't doing anything to directly stop the destruction of Hamas and Hezbollah as they are Iran's tools. Let's not forget Trump has been telling Nuttyahoo "Do what you need to do" in the back ground all along.

I dare say it is not a genocide though. Hamas' casualty numbers are GREATLY inflated for one thing. There may be no Gaza available for the Palestinians when it is over though.

How do you feel about any of the lawyers that fought the election results in 2020? With so many of these experienced lawyers being sanctioned, disbarred or otherwise penalized not to mention what they presented to the court for their cases.

I agree the other guy is just an idiot. I just don't know how much faith I put in her being an experienced lawyer having had some experience with "experienced lawyers".

Russia has had so many Red Lines on Nukes it isn't funny. The solution for Russia is easy - pull out of the war of aggression in Ukraine. They know they are the aggressor. They know this war is starting to enter it's end phase. Their economy is collapsing and they know they don't have a hope of "winning". They are now dependent on NK and Iran for weapons. China is supplying them as well. And now they are using NK troops. Russia's vaunted military has been broken by the lowly Ukrainians who had something like the 52 ranked military coming into this conflict.

Have they really changed though? NK always had China. Russia is in a massive quagmire that has them dependent on NK for Arms and men. Japan is investing in these systems exactly because Russia and the dangerous North Korean actions.

I think the only reason NK still exists is to serve as buffer zone for China from South Korea. I think if China wanted to annex NK it would happen overnight.

It's possible you are right. But you ignore the reality and complexities. They have improbably stood so far. The US backing is going to be unwavering. Any idiot who thought Trump would stop Israel is just that - an idiot. Trump will provide them everything they need and more. Just look at his past track record. They are the only stable ally in the region. If anything, putting Kamala in would have weakened them.

Their enemies are not on the level they are. They learned in their last encounter with Hezbollah what complacency does and this time they are walking over them. They stepped up their intelligence too. They are better organized, better equipped and better led. Throw in the "Hey we actually have Nukes" bit and Israel is going nowhere. The Saudi's are not interested in eliminating them and couldn't anyhow. Israel is a big counter to their arch nemesis anyhow - Iran. There is Egypt, but they are also not interested in conflict with Israel. There is nobody else worth mentioning.

So Pneumonia is rampant here right now. So is COVID but my understanding this is non-COVID pneumonia. I am personally sicker than heck and trying to prevent pneumonia...

A local repertory therapist I know said the hospital has made extra shift mandatory for staff. "It hasn't been this bad since peak COVID." I am not hearing what they think the cause is which bothers me. They are getting overrun in the ER. Whether it is people who had the flu and/or COVID and then developed pneumonia as a result or what. My test was negative for Flu/COVID but it doesn't make me any less sick. This isn't a conspiracy theory but in the fall of 2019 there was a pretty significant outbreak too. A lot of folks developed "bronchitis" that lasted months a lot of them claim it was COVID now (it wasn't).
