I read about him a year or two ago. The last few years were a complete struggle to find parts to keep the Iron Lung working since nobody makes them anymore because the vaccine wiped out Polio and the long time survivors that required them were dying off.

If this only impacted anti-vaccers...

The US was on permanent DST during WWII went back on permanent DST in the early 74. Accidents involving kids caused the change back to the flip/flop - of course it was 20 kids vs 18 the year before.

The energy savings are significant and thus the reason to go on permanent DST. The whole world should consider it.

Time, like everything around us, is just a construct anyhow.

Oh I see - Rita Crundwell. As usual you are wrong. She was not pardoned. The last year of her sentence, which she was serving at home btw, was commuted. The one I have biggest issue with was Eric Bloom's sentence commutation. He has not served enough time but probably would have been released soon anyhow. I am sure Trump has a place for him on his cabinet. BTW these people have to accept the pardons and commutations.

So I went and read the list. I don't recognize the names. What I do recognize is what these people did with their lives after release. Most of them seem to be non-violent offenses from their early 20s who turned their lives around despite having federal convictions.

With the amount of illness that has been going around animal farms in general - like herds of Cows full of it, dead cats, sick workers at the same time... It is only a matter of time before this new lab accident spreads like wildfire through people.

Honestly I am in week 7 of an illness - turned the corner about a week ago finally. I didn't test positive for COVID multiple times. Didn't test positive for "the flu" either. Maybe I should have been tested for avian flu. Frankly I got ill after cleaning an area full of bird mess.

Stocking up on the TP this weekend... lol

Moving slowly, carefully and deliberately in a case like this is so crucial for many reasons. One is being in unprecedented territory and the other is he is an ex-president. Two is to get it "right" in such an important investigation and shut up the trolls.

Unfortunately they moved too slowly because others intended to make it last through the election. Yes I am saying the judge and the SCOTUS as much as Garland and Smith being cautious caused it to drag on. Funny how the Trump plants were so obstructionist on this and granted the President Dictator like powers.
