This makes for a Sad day, I heard about it last week. The Post actually had for the most part good, accurate and fair reporting. They didn't have the issues that the NYTs has been plagued with. Canceling my subscription.

I don't much care for the Orwellian nature of speed cameras, but they do work.

I hate them - mainly because Orwellian. That data IS being collected and going somewhere. Likely to marketing companies. The worst part is if someone is speeding from what I know, the owner gets the ticket. I know someone who's mechanic took their vehicle for a test drive and apparently ran a light. All of a sudden he has a ticket. He beat it but... It's easy to make it so nobody can tell who is driving. Throw on a Guy Fawkes mask and wig - wasn't me...

What works is active road patrols that pull people over and ticket them. That hasn't been a thing in most areas for 20+ years now. I used to see them on a local state highway virtually every time I drove it Either parked or driving and nobody did more than 5 over. Always during Rush hour. I seen one for the first time in a month over the weekend. As a direct result, now if you are doing 5 over you would think you were 10 under. I know tech has given speeders advantages but same goes for the cameras.

The only way to fix ICE is to abolish it. Period.

Well there is a lot of competence in Poland. They hate Putin and Russians in general but I don't think they really care for Trump either.

Maybe because of things like:
- The information that was "redacted" and people were able to access that clearly had no business being redacted.
- The tip to the FBI about Trump's pedo "auctions" that was never investigated and slipped into the release?
- fElon's eager requests for an Island invite that came out?
- How about the image of the web of Musk's associates that the FBI put out that was mostly redacted?
- Then there is all the un-redacted victim information that was posted...
- The volume of released files seems inconsistent with what is supposed to exist?

Either they are criminally inept or it is a cover up - maybe BOTH?

Still don't understand the ICE costumes. Fatigues in the city for "policing", is it just meant to be close to brown shirts?

Sure not nearly every kid who gets the measles will die but some will and some will have lifetime affects. All preventable by a silly little jab. Cruelty is the intent.

This is the key. The President and GOP have shown they are willing to do away with the convictions of those on "their side" whether they are violent criminals or corrupt business people bilking investors or the government for that matter. They just turn the other way. That emboldens the people under them because they think they have the same Teflon armor the President does. They aren't Teflon Dementia Donnie though and I don't think the next GOP president (when there is inevitably one) will be the same cult of personality and therefore not so eager to release the cult.

I have empathy for those not graced with a 3 digit IQ but you don't vote for a moral less side show bob of a crook. Not being intelligent and being stupid are separate things though.
