Clearly, Putin is gearing up for another expansionist war if he can get Ukraine to surrender. Germany arming has to alarm a lot of neighbors, but then, NATO cannot depend on the US for much these days. One wonders why Trump just doesn't order all our troops out of Europe...he is more Russia's buddy than Germany's friend.

The far right looting the treasury, the way the fascist right looted the treasury of the Soviet Union as that Empire fell. I have absolutely no doubt that Trump and his gang are working on cutting this country up into little chunks so they are their allies can take it all when the bankruptcy gets announced as we one day fairly soon cannot pay our creditors (without totally taking benefits from the poor).

Bring back NASA, stop with the billionaire glorification of the exploration of space. America pays for it..,.it is not about Musk or Bezos...

We all know it is going to happen, sooner rather than later, as Trump works to find a way to declare Martial Law and so use troops to intimidate voters, or to stop the voting in certain states like Oregon which has total vote by mail.
I strongly believe in the civilian control of our massive military, but of course, that does mean that if our civilians in control are greedy corrupt thugs...our democracy goes down the tubes thanks to the Trump voters.

The poor in America, you know, those of us on the bottom half of the economic pyramid who have less wealth, all of us together, than does Musk in his greedy hands, well, no one is bothering to give us gold, they know we have no power, and are daily losing more and more of our power.
One person. one vote is now, thanks to the utterly corrupt federal Supreme Court and "Justice" Roberts and his Citizens United decision, one dollar one vote. Musk bought the last election for Trump.

I remember a time before Rupert and Fox lying News, when there was a Fairness Doctrine for the media...one could have a discussion with others and know all had the same set of facts. Now, however, those who watch Fox are not only fed partial truths, if that, but they are handed that news on a plate of gaslighting utter nonsense.

Ethnic cleansing ongoing since the Six Day War and clearly Netanyahu wants to turn the Occupied Territories into first a wasteland of dead Palestinians, then a paradise for the Settlers. We lost our honor when we allied with the fascism of modern day Israel, truth be told. And at the end of our empire, there will be Putin laughing and laughing. He was able to destroy America the way America destroyed the Soviet Union.

America is led by those who have no problem with extrajudicial murders of criminal suspects, an action that is illegal in each and every jurisdiction in America. So sure, rest of the world, take care of your honor, for America no longer has any, it is led by a grifting nightmare of a fascist, as both Mattis and Kelly said, repeatedly.

Well, the delay gave them time to sanitize the Epstein Files to take out the references to the billionaire caste, and certainly they found a way to make sure Trump is protected.

So let us just accept the facts that 1) America is bankrupt thanks to the Trump tax cuts for the billionaire caste, and 2) we are led by utterly corrupt gangsters who are out to protect themselves not the American people. As America's ability to pay its debt totally goes away, we are in a Ponzi scheme economy,, where we pay off the service of the debt, and pretend, like Madoff did, that nothing is wrong. The Soviet Union showed itself to be bankrupt when it couldn't pay the light bills for the military, but all in all the very rich under Putin made out like bandits as they looted the treasury and took over.

Child abuse intertwined with big money corruption...one expects fairly soon she will either be freed, and her extortion of the President ignored, or she goes back to a real prison, and the Epstein files disappear.

Our planet has been held hostage to the insanity of big oil domination, and the children being born today will pay the price for ignoring human caused global warming. Even Bill Gates a few days ago bent the knee to big oil and to ignoring how dangerous global warming is going to be, and in some places, already is.
We are led by corrupt fools out to enrich themselves on the bodies of the poor and the powerless. That is why our American political systems are failing, that is why our American medical and Dental systems are devolving.

American fascism has been on the march for a long time, it was just that the national media tending to ignore that fact. What were we doing in Vietnam, but killing a million fellow humans to support the super rich and their devotion to fundamentalist fascism, with its devotion to religion and imperialism? Kennedy and then Johnson had us support the far right Catholic minority in then South Vietnam, especially after the French were run out of the country.
And when Dick Cheney, the de facto President instead of w, had us invade and kill at a whim...to steal Iraqi oil, that wasn't fascism? Fascism is militarism and rightest domination of all for the good of the very few very rich...

Well, this is how Trump got elected, by demonstrating his clear hate of those with Black and Brown skins, for his devotion to the concept that the super rich should own everything, and have the best of everything and the people at the bottom should suffer and struggle and die many years before the Musk, Trump fascist gang.

Problem is, Trump is the physical symbol of American fascism, but behind the scenes people with billions of dollars are working like hell to make sure the Dems never get back into power. Musk put over 200 million dollars in a super pac to get Trump elected again, for instance.
Our elections are rigged big time, thanks to the idiots at the federal Supreme Court who pretend that money is speech. Actually, money is bribery.

Tax the billionaire caste until the poor have as good a medical system as the very rich. Then bring back the draft and have all citizens, male and female serve their country in order to be eligible for the new medical system. As it is, the inherited wealthy live as gods, and the poor live as permanent members of the refugee caste, in a country where shelter education and medical care are priced out of reach.

We are Ukraine, as it was when Yanukovych was President. He was a Putin stooge, and ran the country into the ground, and then with Putin's help was able to run away to Moscow. And a greatly weakened Ukraine was attacked by the mass murdering war criminal Putin.
Trump is our greatest enemy, and we elected him twice. Not sure what the future holds, but I do fear for our Constitutional Republic.

At this point, many of us out here are wondering if anyone is minding the store, rather than grabbing for all the grift they can get.
