I would expect the midterms to be full of blood and drama, because if Trump really were to lose both the House and the Senate, he and his family would be in court, pretty much all the time. If I were Trump, I would be planning on 'retiring' from the Presidency so President Vance could pardon me, my family, and my entire gang of cultists, and if he loses the midterms, I would expect him to seriously consider such an action soon after.

I can pretty much be sure that of the first 100 American deaths, not a one will come from the upper echelons of the economic pyramid, and as Trump reduces the taxes of the 1%, it will be the poor in the US who will also be paying for such a war, if it happens.

Just accept the fact that we are now Russianized, our rule of law has been amended to include extortion and exclusion for those who oppose the fascists in charge, and our rule of law only applies to those who the criminals in the White House hate, to those it supports. well pardons for all.

Inevitable..if the Republican Party loses the midterms in a big way, I look for Trump to pull a Nixon, and after making sure Vance or whoever is his VP at the time is compliant, and simply resign. And then the VP becomes President, and quickly Vance pardons Trump, Trump's family, the entire MAGA grifting empire...and then leaves office when the Dems take over, to run a bankrupted country.
Either resign, or call upon his violent army to stop the 2028 elections.

A nation is bankrupt when it cannot pay its bills, and will not play its debt. When one's creditors see that all one can do is pay off the service on the debt, but cannot pay the main amount, ever, it is all over.
Clearly, Trump sees that the only way to pay America's debt and not increase the taxes on his billionaire buddies is to take from the poor..so hello attack on SNAP, SS, Medicare, and so on.

Many of us out here lost in this America know in our heart of hearts that fascist cutthroat capitalism is in charge, they own Wall Street, Congress, certainly the federal Supreme Court, and Trump doesn't mind being called a fascist because at this point, he is doing what he can to take from the poor and give to the rich.
Fascism is the permanent rule of the very few very rich over the great many, using fear, intimidation, domination and violence...kinda Trump's war plan, war against we at the bottom of the economic pyramid plan.

And, I am sure, "Justice" Roberts is not done delivering this Constitutional Republic to those who run things...the American oligarchs.
