Obama was an outsider too.
It was supposed to be Hillary that won the nomination in 2008.
The DNC was able to paper over all that, but the DNC only jumped on the Obama bandwagon after the Democrat primaries forced them to.

She would often burst into laughter immediately after making a point where someone might have wanted to respond.
The laughter broke the natural flow of communication and kept the floor focused on her.
Personally, I think at times it came across like she was trying to prevent an immediate follow-up question, interruption or continuation of a thought.
It often sounded forced or overly prolonged, which interrupted the normal back-and-forth exchange of ideas and made meaningful responses awkward.
