On July 28, 2026, a Republican-led Senate committee questioned Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a leading face of the U.S. government's COVID-19 response, over his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the hearing, Fauci declined to answer by invoking his Fifth Amendment rights more than 100 times. The Fifth Amendment protects people from answering self-incriminating questions. It seems all might not be well in Melania Trump's marriage. The first lady, 56, has been married to Donald Trump since 2005 and it's safe to say they've faced their share of ups and downs over the years. Even Melania's first meeting with her now-husband raised eyebrows as he was on a date with another woman at the time. Their relationship has now been dragged into the spotlight again, with Wolff claiming the couple "barely speak." The comments come after a body language expert suggested the president and first lady seemed "tense" while at the 2026 World Cup final.
