A defense filing has revealed that the only witness called in the federal felony case brought against former Olympian Davey Hearn for causing more than $1000 in damage to the reflecting pool could not identify any repair cost that resulted from Hearn's alleged action. The filing states that the the witness testified that the liner was already damaged and that the same repair the government is blaming on Hearn was already needed.
