Trump will get credit when the economy trickles down the commoners. Considering we are still waiting for the Reagan trickle down after 50+ years, I wouldn't hold my breath.
Unfortunately, people will still believe in trickle down and continue to vote for tax cuts for the rich despite tax cuts never having made America Great (unless you are in the top 1% of wealth).

Just like in the US cities where Trump is pushing and pushing to get some violence to declare Martial Law he is hoping Venezuela strikes back and then he is able to use that as an excuse for actual war.
