Having the recognition of being an incumbent is a huge advantage and why these people get elected over and over again.
People tend to vote for their team and the name they recognize, and maybe one or two issues that they say they care about, not necessarily the best candidate (regardless of age)

If we just get all the stupid amounts of money out of politics the problem will go away. Only people that really want to serve would be in office.

While it is likely that this poor woman chose not to be vaccinated, it is very important to remember that there are those out there who cannot receive vaccinations due to adverse reactions. So knee-jerk victim blaming should not take place without all the facts. However, it is these very people that herd immunity most protects as they are involuntarily susceptible to the diseases most of us can choose to be protected from. This is what makes the anti-vax stance reprehensible. It is not just yourself that you are exposing to disease by your choice, it is also those who don't have the option to make the choice for themselves.

It really wasn't though. There was never a mention of what training and policies were to blame and how it was different than normal mail.

The real crux was that most facilities weee found to be fine and that 99% of ballots arrived at their destination in a timely fashion, showing that there is very little concern for mail in voting.

What does this even mean? How are mail in ballots handled differently than any other mail by the Postal Service? Isn't it just prepaid mail that has a delivery address? What extra training is required?

Why would anyone believe that any savings there are from importing more beef tariff free is going to be passed on to the consumer? End consumer prices will stay the same or continue to rise and the increased profit will be reaped. Especially since they know this is a 90 day window, they aren't going to lower prices just to raise them again.
