It kind of reminds me of January 6, when MAGA insurrectionists attacked the capital. While it was happening, I knew it was a huge deal. I told my wife to come watch the tv with me because it was an event that would reverberate for decades to come, and be taught about in history classes. Well, that is how I felt today watching Trump and Vance descend into open hostility toward the President of the Ukraine, to the advantage and benefit of Vladimir Putin (- the world's most vicious dictator bar none). A historic day. One that will be discussed (and rued) for at least as long as the rest of my life. American diplomacy and leadership flushed itself down the toilet.

Trump's performance today was among the least 'presidential' or worthy of respect by any POTUS in my lifetime. He has shamed us. And the only ones who do not feel the shame are those who are too stupid to understand the gravity of what just occurred

Today I feel less comfortable being an American. We have a disgusting, short-sighted, egotistic pig as our CinC.

And where are the ------- MAGAs of this site to defend Trump's behavior in the disaster that just occurred? Crickets?

In a way, I am glad this finally happened, and that it happened publicly. It is now clear for the whole world to see that Trump and MAGA is trying to shove Putin!s terms down stage throat of the Ukraine. Trump is doing everything he can to give Putin his total victory. In a very intelligent manner, Zelenskyy has told Trump and Vance to shove it up their ass. No matter how much Trump may want to force Zelenskyy to kiss his ring, that ain't happening. Especially not in the face of Trump's manifest attempt to extort the Ukraine.

This is a disaster for both sides. Trump will deeply regret this.

Problem with 'the military' standing up to Trump is that Trump has purged the military of leaders with integrity and replaced them with obsequious ambitious MAGAt minded political officers. And Republicans in Congress, - that ball-ess collection of sycophants and cowards are even worse. Do not look to these institutions to stand up for the Constitution or democracy.

If ever there was a perfect time for China to in case and annex Taiwan, it is right now. While Trump is POTUS he will not allow the US military respond. Just as he advocated cleansing the Gaza Strip by Israel and converting it into luxory communities, a la the French Riviera. And Trump tacitly is giving Russia a green light to invade Lithuania and Estonian when it is finished with The Ukraine. To say nothing of trying to bully both Canada and Greenland to surrender their sovereignty to the US.

Trump is a horrible evil man. And as illustrated by the slaughter of Native Americans and the establishment of the cruelest institution of slavery the world has ever known, America has pretty much always been inhabited by evil horrible white people, Trump truly is representative of a large cross section of modern white American.

The Ukraine does not owe the USA a penny. All military support from the USA was declared a grant at the time it was made. Trump cannot revise history. Too many videos showing what was actually said and done before he ever got back into office.

TheUjrainian people should tell American to takes it's star link and shove it up our ass. That really is the only appropriate response to this type of interference with the Ukraine's sovereignty.
