As if they deserve now every bad thing that is happening to them and their communities. On the other hand, I think we all know that if this country is once again to become whole and move forward there must be some meaningful level of reconciliation after these past ten years of the greatest national polarization sine the Civil War. It cannot come from the top down. It must come from us, We The People, in our attempts to lay the disdain aside. Tall order but I think that becomes our duty if we truly are patriotic Americans.

As i look on it all now, it becomes apparent that Trump ended up "owning" the Republicans far more than he ever "owned" the Democrats or the liberals. Look at who have been the main victims of Trump's stupidity, corruption, greed and dishonesty. Farmers. Truckers. Red State schools, hospitals and emergency services. Red State working class people trying to afford health care. The list goes on and on. Perhaps that is the greatest joke of them all. He has destroyed almost everything the GOP once claimed to stand for. And America's international standing and reputation have gone down the toilet. This is something i never imagined would happen in my lifetime. I think the new statue in Strasbourg France really says it all about how people around the world now feel about America.
