Yep. This is also why representation is so important, especially for children.

Think about it, a century ago, your child's representation of who they saw as heroes and such was almost entirely controlled, gate-kept even, by the parents and perhaps whatever church they attended. So the problem of being a black child and seeing black people mostly indicated as criminals on TV wasn't even a concern, before TV was being broadcast into our homes.

It's a completely different world now. Parents didn't grow up in a world with infinity TV channels and the Internet.

You can understand how people get ------ in the head and end up falling in with Trump.

BillJohnson, I work in biotech. If I had thought about it a little more, I might have steered towards a field without such pronounced ups and downs. Then again I don't think I'd be happy in a field like banking. Too boring.

I don't pay much attention to what the media corps are up to. Last time I may have cared was when Letterman went to CBS; a coup at the time. Now, CBS is shuttering their Late Show entirely because it was mean to Trump.

They are absolutely trying to be the mouthpiece for Trump.

They just suck at it because they're horrible people with no friends and no social skills that nobody wants to be around.

Really, no assets? Seems unlikely. You're talking about a spendthrift, not a person in danger of being homeless if the bus they're on breaks down on their way to work and they get fired by some petty manager for coming in late.

People living pay check to paycheck are doing so because they don't want to cut frivolous spending out or they just simply made mad choices that they cant get out of in the short term.
