It's hard to care about a guy like Kirk who claims and supports others who claim trans people are evil, gay people are evil, Dems are evil, Muslims are evil, and immigrants are evil. And then he and the people he supports literally support the killing of people in these groups.

It's hard to care when the very actions that could prevent these shootings like gun control are completely opposed by Kirk and his ilk and he says these shootings are acceptable.

It's hard to care when Republicans who demonize everyone suddenly talk about toning down the rhetoric but at the same time fill their ranks with people like Lara Loomer who claim all Dems should not be arrested after Kirk's shooting.

It's hard to care when Republicans, especially MAGAts, tried to first pretend the assassin of the Minnesota lawmakers was a Democrat then simply ignored it when that story proved untrue.
