That is an example of why I can't wrap my head around people who support republicans. They do literally NOTHING to help poor and middle class Americans.
Generally speaking, anything that does help them comes from democrat policies that republicans refuse to help with and then take credit for.
Like what substantive thing has the republicans done for middle and lower class people over the past 40+ years?
No child left behind, maybe, could at least be considered an effort at helping them
Tax cuts that primarily benefit the wealthy is the only thing the republicans have done over the past 25 years.
Other than the culture war ----, which they are successful with and I accept that there are lower and middle class people who want what the republicans are serving on that stuff
but what substantive economic thing have the republicans done?
