When you say, "this time Mega controls the House," you forgot to mention how desperately slim that margin is and some of them are Moderates. This is an election year for every member of Congress and with Trump flailing like a fish out of water, the down tickets for that slim margin are in imminent danger. At times like this, everybody is looking out for themselves, not Johnson.

In fact, Trump is the only one looking out for Johnson and as Trump's numbers slide backwards, so goes his power to influence.

Is it finally over for Trump?

You'd think so. He acts now he's just going through the motions. But as LAMP's #1 says, "Too soon to tell."

All I can add to that is, Noone's been killed yet. And desperate people do desperate things for desperate reasons.

I don't think anyone "talked" Joe Biden into anything. He's too experienced for that. They may have agreed with him but I think he knew what he was doing all along. Even the denials

I don't know how long it was in the planning stage, but I call it a well choreographed move. Planned and executed by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris right down to the exact moment when it would throw Trump and his campaign for a loop.

Trump is political tenderfoot compared to Joe Biden. And not a very smart one at that.

The United States is a money-making machine. I don't think the GOP wants to destroy it. They just want to own it.

New advisors will tell Trump ~ You have to start being nice. Voters don't trust mean people. They think you're going to be mean to them, too. You to pretend to be understanding of journalist and extend the hand of friendship because they can make or break you. (see Harris campaign). You have to start praising successful women and pretend that they are intracule to the great economy you want to build. Indispensable, even. (see Harris campaign.)

Now we all know that Trump is too undisciplined, hide-bound actually, to carry off all the suggestions of his new advisors. He's probably heard it all before anyway. Of course, a smart person would listen up and invent a whole new Trump to get elected. But people like Trump who court failures like they're of a test of the cunning image he has of himself, will not be that astute.

And BTW, (they'll say) get some new material. That old schtick about 2020 and rigged elections is stale. Make up some new lies about how life is going to be so much better when you're elected. People love that hope and change stuff. Promise them the moon and stars.

The problem is, there is no policy outside of Project 2025 and that's the very last thing (other than abortion) that Trump and the Republican Party want voters to know the truth about.

In this case, the truth would not set Trump free. It would be his swan song. So you really can't blame the guy for ducking and dodging Republican policy. Republican policy is the kiss of death for democracy.

Unfortunately, if The Republican Party is successful, we won't be able to solve the problem with torches and pitchforks like the good ol' days.

Resistance will be futile and treated as treason against the empire, punishable by public execution. (Just to drive home the futile part)

November 5th is the last chance for American to survive as a free nation.

So let's throw the bus out!

I've learned that it's foolish to argue with the Constitution. It says what it says until somebody changes it. And nothing that is said here is going to change it by arguing with each other.

I use Google for more than just a search engine. My bank requires a google account for phone verifying not only my bank account but also my email. Even I can't log in without a one time only code. I wish there was an alternative because there's lot of things I don't like about Google's privacy policy. They don't seem to have one.

Fortunately, the phone verify doesn't come directly from Google. There's a third party that actually sends me the log-in code. I have a second, unregistered phone line for just that purpose which I never use for anything else. So far, it's been a godsend.

I'm beginning to doubt these documents even exist, regardless of what "some" outlets claim they have but won't print. Or if they are what Trump says they are.

Anytime I hear the words "Trump says . . . " there's room to smell a rat.

Anything Rober Stone is involved in, there's room for two rats.

I suspect that phone conversation with Musk was just another way for Trump to hold a "rally" without leaving Mar-a-Lago.
