I know exactly what you mean. I bought ten rolls of quarters (at the drive through) the other day. The teller put them in a bag. When I got home, there were only 9 rolls.

Thanks everybody for your support. I'm nothing if not tenacious. I can't beat this eye problem but I can certainly find creative ways to compensate. The one thing I do worry about, not for just for myself me but for everybody, are Trump's cuts to Medicare that will go into effect after the midterms.

Thanks. I've been preoccupied lately with an unexpected eye problem called macular degeneration. I've partially lost my binocular vision which has been raising hell with just about everything I like to do. I'm considering getting on the list for a transplant. Surgeon is working on it. Right now I'm just getting injections directly into my eyeball to try and stop the growth on the retina.

You're not alone. I've had several run-ins with banks over their petty shenanigans.

Bank of America was (past tense) the worst. I have a "three strikes and you're out" rule. That little five dollar gouge cost them not only my personal accounts and direct deposits but also the $300,000 held in Trust for my mother's estate, of which I was the Executrix.

As I understood when this happened in Florida, the bank had to pay the debit card company a fee every time a debit card was used. It didn't work here either. To offset, the banks then tried to charge account holders a monthly fee of $5.00. It didn't take long for that scam to bite the dust either.

I seem to recall that President Obama stepped in and reduced the $0.48 per use to $0.25 per use. That seemed to be an acceptable solution for all.

At least, that's the way I remember the fracas. It was a long time ago. I'll stand corrected if anybody has a better memory.

Let the finger pointing begin. Nothing surprises me in MAGA politics or child-custody cases.

Both are breeding grounds for nerve-wracking frustration, violence, scapegoats and whipping posts.

Take Trump for example. He uses all of the above and uses helpless immigrants as his whipping posts.

I'd like to see an MRI of Trump's brain to find out what demons are guiding his long and troubled history of bad decisions.

That doesn't surprise anyone. Trump is clever enough to know that the wounded survivors of his illegal war weren't going to be thanking him.

Another point of view: It's possible they might even have refused a visit.

However, he seems to think all he has to do is issue an Executive Order, wait for it to be appealed up through the court system and hope, in the end, that the ass licking U.S. Supreme Court will find a statute vague enough that Trump can crawl through.

All part of Trump's plan to "nationalize" ALL State voting rights in violation of the Constitution.

Trump is what you might call an insecure control freak!

After suddenly realizing that the word "discovery" works in both directions, Trump is making a futile effort to exclude "business records" from his lawsuit, thus limiting the damages strictly to "reputation."

It's an uphill battle considering that his name is also that of his business "brand" and is thus fair game. BBC has a good case in that respect.

But I agree with ANGRYDAD. There is nothing on heaven or earth that will make Trump release the business records of 100 companies that bear his "brand."

All-in-all, Trump has once again dug his own grave. He is nothing if not redundant.

I'd suggest a mass exodus before the midterms so they can still claim a modicum of integrity. Even then, their reputation would be sketchy. Guilt by association, so to speak. It's a career killer.

Fear of being scapegoated to cover up Trump's irresponsibility is possibly another reason.

I'd also guess that Trump's quest for unlimited power is skating on thin ice in the midterms. Nobody wants to be the last soldier to get killed in Trump's war on democracy, if you get my drift.

Trump is ALWAYS badly in need of a scapegoat to cover up his own incompetence. This isn't something new or even unusual. It's his m.o. . . . i.e. THE MOST INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT EVER!
