BellRinger's whataboutism aside, tax exempt status should be stripped from ALL organized religion, no matter who they side with ideologically.
My point remains that they should be taxed just like the entertainment industry, or any other for-profit endeavor. If organized religion is genuinely doing any good works, they can write those expenses off against their revenues.
And just to be clear, I feel the same way about most large NFP's.
