Some men tried so hard to be heterosexual for years because they were brought up believing and being told it was wrong to have sexual feelings for other men. Some men deny it over and over, have kids, believing that that will change them. It doesn't. Some slip out to the worst places, taking terrible risks, when the urge becomes too much. Then they deal with guilt -only guilt if they're lucky. Some are bi and have always known it. Some are just curious and it's a one time thing.

One of my absolute best friends was in that last category. It was once and only once and I didn't initiate it. That was nearly 40 years ago.

And yes, I have counseled and coached and talked guys off the ledge and I have saved marriages and two lives (that I know for sure). There's so much pressure to conform. To be a certain way. Expectations. It can be so difficult.

Also that survey is, as I recall, associated with the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) which I'm sure everyone is familiar. That makes those numbers even more likely to be "conservative."

Eberly, you're assuming I was promiscuous. That I didn't know the people that I ended up having physical relationships with (some once because they really just wanted to know, and others for decades). To this day I still talk to some of them. I even know some of their wives.

I asked you last time why anyone should jump through more hoops right before election day to satisfy ballot purging that should have been done, by LAW, 90 days before the election day. What happens to anyone who doesn't get notified and doesn't fix the issue in time? They're purging up to election day. You pretend to know that anyone can cast a provisional ballot. Or that they'll know they can register the same day as they vote. So let's take that case, not the mail-in issue (which was described above for one case, and another case, they're too late to get a ballot mailed to them with the purge). The case where you think someone can just walk in and cast a provisional ballot by reregistering. They'd have to know to bring the required information/documentation for registration with them. They have to be at the right location to register. On Election day there's only one place you can register: your precinct. You are putting a lot of work on election volunteers and voters all for no good reason.

Oh there is a reason, though. So Youngkin can look MAGA to idiots and pretend he's actually doing something.
