I think Eberly's right, though. I don't see D.C. being closed off. I see tRump militarizing it, crushing dissent, protests, banning and criminalizing graffiti, and more. He'd then point to D.C. as an example of what other states should do, or they should let the Federal Government do it (Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, etc.). Keep in mind about 40% of Americans are favorable towards fascism or authoritarianism.

I think a lot of people agree with that these days.
