It was COMPANIES who started moving manufacturing overseas to save a buck and enrich themselves and shareholders.

Reagan ushered in the "Greed Is Good" and union busting. The two Bush tax cuts even provided tax benefits for moving factories lock, stock, and barrel.

Don't pretend it was consumers yearning for cheap goods. After major industry from textiles to steel to you-name-it started manufacturing overseas, wages started to fall as good paying American manufacturing jobs moved one by one and companies reaped the benefits. Until then, a man without a college degree could support a family.

We are about to witness the catastrophic results soon in the coming weeks.

My wife and I sold a farm we owned a couple of years ago. We're SO glad we did.
