Judge says E Jean Carroll allegation Trump raped her is substantially true' in court dismissal

Donald Trump suffered another legal reversal on Monday, losing his counterclaim for defamation against E Jean Carroll, the writer against whom he was found liable for sexual abuse and defamation and fined $5m, and who continues to pursue a separate defamation case against him.

Dismissing the counterclaim, a judge in New York, Lewis A Kaplan, said that when Carroll repeated her allegation that Trump raped her, her words were "substantially true". Kaplan also set out in detail why it may be said that Trump raped Carroll.

Trump's a self-admitted sexual assaulter. Or have you forgotten the hot mic Access Hollywood incident or the dozens of women who've made claims, including a then 13-year-old?

"It is if charged and proven in a CRIMINAL COURT"

It's also a crime if proven in civil court. Victims have the legal option to pursue either.

As the uproar over the Epstein files continues, prosecutors say the late sex offender's longtime accomplice has a history of lying. Her defense lawyer says she will speak truthfully.

On Thursday, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche met with Jeffrey Epstein's longtime accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell for several hours in a Florida U.S. attorney's office. On Aug. 11, Maxwell is scheduled for a jailhouse deposition sought by the House Oversight Committee.

As the uproar over the Epstein files continues, a central question is whether Maxwell can be trusted to tell the truth.

It smells of cover up with Blanche visiting Maxwell in prison before she testifies before the committee. To dangle an eventual pardon if she plays ball and denies Trump involvement before the committee, like Tom Hagen's visit to Frank Pantageli in The Godfather II before his Senate testimony?

My uber religious mom told me I'd burst into flames if I brought home a Black Sabbath album.

Never did tell her about sneaking with my fellow young teen friends to a Stones concert where they were the opening act. Strangely, I did not spontaneously combust, then or ever after.

I was more of a Beatles fan anyway. That probably saved me from a fiery death. Or, most likely, mom's religion was full of ****it.
